Apothecary 1863 is the vision of our founder Erianne Gibson, Pharm D.  As a child she loved mixing the shampoos, soaps, and lotions gathered from hotels.  Her love for concocting different mixtures lead her to become a pharmacist. 

After spending her time serving the public in community pharmacy settings and as a hospital pharmacist Dr. Gibson set out to rediscover her initial love.  The making of custom formulations. She wanted to take her current pharmacy knowledge to the next level and earned a certificate in Master Formulation of Natural Skincare.

It is of the utmost importance to Dr. Gibson that the products she sells and creates are curated specifically for their ingredients.

As a Pharmacist it is also exceptionally important that a large portion of her company is focused on education.  Apothecary 1863 also produces informative videos and articles aimed at being truly transparent about the Apothecary 1863 products and the skincare industry in general.
